5:30-7:30 PM
Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave. (map)
Community Room (just to the right of the main entrance)

5:30-6:00: Potluck!
Please bring a dish to share (along with your own silverware) according to your last name:
A-F Entrée, G-P Salad, Q-Z Dessert

6:00-6:15: AUA Community Slideshow
This is your chance to show off your garden, farm or other urban agriculture project; it’s also a great opportunity to make some new connections!  Everyone will have 30 seconds to a minute (depending on the number of submissions) to talk about their project. Please send one photo of your cultivated land to Billy Burdett at co*********@au********.org with the subject “community slideshow” by 9AM on June 13.

6:15-7:00: 2012 AUA Progress Report
AUA’s Steering Committee, Working Groups and Coordinator have been very busy recently, working on updating and expanding AUA’s Urban Agriculture Resource Guide, making new connections with folks across the Chicago metro area and beyond who are interested in UA, advocating for UA-friendly policies and programs, and refining AUA’s organizational structure, to name just a few developments.  Find out what AUA has been doing for you and how you can contribute!

7:00-7:30: Community Networking
This is your AUA and the Steering Committee wants to hear from you!  What are your thoughts on what AUA is doing?  What do you like, and what would you like to see changed?  This will be a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and identify ideas and goals that could be put into action through AUA’s Working Groups.
