Lecture Announced

doug-johnston#4 of the Urban Habitat Chicago 2009 lecture series: “Let’s make it hot!” by Doug Johnston, on The Built Environment: Land, Water, Soil and the City.

Johnston, a soils scientist with the Morton Arboretum, will discuss the large impact that cities and land management practices have on biogeochemistry and the environment. The lecture will explain what biogeochemistry is, and how it affects our natural resources and environmental health.
